Willow Park
Willow Park is an established family community in southeast Calgary, built around the private Willow Park Golf & Country Club — the city's first private golf and country club, opened in 1965. Keith Homes developed the course and the surrounding streets together, and the neighbourhood grew up around the fairways through the mid-to-late 1960s.
The community sits south of Southland Drive, west of Acadia Drive, north of Anderson Road, and east of Macleod Trail, putting Southcentre Mall, Willow Park Village, and the Anderson LRT station within a few minutes' reach. Mature elm and spruce canopy, wide curving streets, and generous lots give it a settled, unhurried feel that newer suburbs can't replicate.
