Elbow Park
Elbow Park follows the curve of the Elbow River south of Mission, with most lots either backing onto the river itself or sitting two streets back from it. The rebuild after the 2013 flood reset the housing stock — roughly a third of the homes are now post-flood new builds, the rest are restored heritage.
The neighbourhood's defining feature is its proximity. Glencoe Club, Calgary Golf & Country Club, and the Stanley Park pool are all reachable on foot, and the river pathway runs from Stanley Park north into downtown without a single road crossing.
River Park and Stanley Park bookend the community. The off-leash trails through River Park are the closest serious off-leash space to downtown.
Glencoe Club membership is the standard family amenity — a three-to-five-year wait, but transferable with most homes that already hold it. The Stanley Park outdoor pool is open to the public in summer.
Mission's 4th Street strip is a six-minute drive. Notable: Ten Foot Henry, Vendome, Pulcinella. Britannia Plaza is closer than Mission for everyday errands.
