Springbank Hill
Springbank Hill rises west of Aspen Woods, with lots that increase in size as you move toward the city limit. The neighbourhood's older sections — built in the 1990s — have larger lots (0.18 to 0.35 acres) and a mix of original and rebuilt homes. The newer sections feel more like Aspen.
The price-to-square-foot ratio here is the most favourable in Calgary's prestige market: buyers consistently get more home for the dollar than equivalent square footage in Aspen or Britannia. The trade-off is a 10-15 minute longer commute to downtown.
Griffith Woods, the protected wetland ravine, runs along the southern edge with off-leash trails. Edworthy Park is a six-minute drive north.
Webber Academy, Rundle College, Ambrose University, Calgary Academy. The public catchment is Olympic Heights / Ernest Manning High School.
Aspen Landing is the closest retail (four minutes). The 85th Street commercial node is closer for groceries — Co-op, Shoppers, several restaurants.
