Bayside (Airdrie)
Bayside is Airdrie's waterfront community, built around an engineered canal network on the city's south side. It sits west of the Queen Elizabeth II Highway and is framed by 8 Street SW on the west, with Yankee Valley Boulevard SW carrying most traffic in and out along the north edge. Downtown Airdrie's independent cafes and restaurants add more character a short drive north, and Calgary's full retail is 20 minutes down Highway 2.
