Rideau Park
Rideau Park sits between Mission and Erlton on the south bluff above the Elbow River. The community is small (under 200 homes) and structured around 4th Street SW's southern extension, with a tight street grid and mostly post-war housing stock.
Recent rebuild activity has been steady but measured. Most original homes have been restored or replaced, but the lot widths (mostly 50 feet) limit the community's transition into infill duplex territory.
The Elbow River pathway runs the western edge with kayak access at Stanley Park. Rideau Park's interior streets back onto a community greenbelt.
Rideau Park School (K-9) sits inside the community — a strong CBE community school. Western Canada catchment for high school.
Mission's 4th Street strip is a 5-minute drive. Britannia Plaza is closer for everyday errands.
